About MONICA

MONICA Private Household ("MONICA") is a private introduction and referral network. We connect individuals and families with trusted, personally known people who provide household and family support services.

MONICA operates on a strictly private, by-introduction basis. We are not a recruitment agency, employment agency, or employer. We do not act as an agent for either party in any placement arrangement.

The nature of our service

Our service consists solely of making personal introductions between individuals within our network. Specifically:

• All introductions are made at our sole discretion
• We do not guarantee the suitability of any introduction for any particular purpose
• We do not guarantee that any introduction will result in a placement
• We do not guarantee availability of any individual within our network
• Any arrangement following an introduction is made directly between the family and the individual concerned — MONICA is not party to that arrangement

Your responsibilities

You remain solely responsible for:

• Conducting your own due diligence in respect of any individual introduced to you
• Verifying references, qualifications, and background checks as appropriate
• Complying with all applicable employment, tax, and regulatory obligations
• The terms of any arrangement made following an introduction

MONICA provides guidance in good faith but is not responsible for the outcome of any introduction or subsequent arrangement.

Confidentiality

All information shared within our network — whether relating to families, individuals, or placement details — is treated with complete discretion. You agree not to share or disclose information provided by MONICA or its network members to any third party without prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MONICA accepts no liability for:

• Any loss, damage, or cost arising from any introduction or placement
• The conduct of any individual introduced through our network
• Any reliance placed on information provided by MONICA
• Any indirect or consequential loss of any kind

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MONICA's services and website in good faith, lawfully, and in a manner consistent with the private and discreet nature of our network. Any misuse of information obtained through MONICA, or any conduct that could damage the reputation or integrity of the network, may result in removal from our network without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
